Favorite Finds: Rompers!
Today is August 30th which means we have two more days until September which means SUMMER ISN'T OVER YET PEOPLE!!!
Every year I find myself in denial that my favorite season will come to an end, so I have decided to stay in denial for a few more precious days and share some Summery-themed posts with all of you lovely people. This summer I wore rompers almost constantly and loved every second of it (minus the Houdini act that occurs whenever you try to go to the bathroom in one) and so I've decided to share some of my favorite rompers with you today! As always, I've included links for you to buy any of the rompers or accessories you see in this post- enjoy!
I figured I might as well start off with the summery-est of summery rompers just in case any of you were questioning my true denial. I love this romper because it's super light and comfortable, and works over a swimsuit at the beach or with cute sandals on the way to the mall. I've also been really into halters lately, so this romper is ticking all the right boxes. This romper is only available in select H&M stores, but you can check out the rest of their rompers online right here.
What's not to love about this flowery navy number? It's made out of a really soft and silky fabric, it's long sleeved so you can still wear it when it cools down a little outside, and it has a ribbon tie in the front which is a really nice detail. I wore this with casual sandals at the airport when I was flying down to Texas, and I got at least 4 or 5 compliments on it at the airport alone. I NEVER get that many comments on an outfit so clearly I will be wearing this 5+ times a week from now on. You can find the same romper here from Target for just $25!
I'm gonna be totally honest with you, these photos don't do this romper justice. It looks SO GOOD in person, from the vibrant red color to the way it flows when you walk. I paired it with these brown wedges from Guess, but it works with some more casual footwear too. I think red and white is such a summery color pairing, so I'll definitely be wearing this one for plenty of Fourth of July parties and Memorial Day barbecues next summer. Unfortunately, this romper is also only available in select H&M stores but they have a similar one selling online right here!
Pink has always and will always be my all-time favorite color, so naturally I was drawn to this pink flowery romper from Forever 21 (I'm only now starting to notice a flower theme with these rompers...) The bell sleeves are cute and go well with the flowery/hippie vibe, but the deep V and short length give it a little bit of edge which I LOVE. I would have risked looking like a little girl if it weren't for the cut of this romper, so I'm really glad they went with that neckline. You can find a similar version from Forever 21 online right here.
PS Forever 21 is a great place to go for rompers because they always have a zillion available.
Anyone who knows me well enough will know exactly why I love this romper...THE BACK!! I'm a sucker for anything with an interesting back (keyhole, X-Cross, bare, I don't discriminate) so I'm obsessed with this funky romper. Aside from my obsession with the flowy slit in the back, I love the bows on the shoulders, the colorful print, and the fact that this one piece can disguise itself as a two piece. This romper is available at most H&M's, but you can also check out the rest of their jumpsuits and rompers online right here. As for these adorable accessories, both the lemon bag and sunglasses are available here, and don't forget to use the code 'tesni20' at checkout to get 20% off your entire order!
Okay guys and gals that is it from me today! I hope you liked my selection of rompers and my forever-awkward poses in them. I know Fall (or Autumn as us Brits say it) is fast approaching, but I promise to squeeze out one or two more summer-themed posts before accepting that Summer will eventually have to come to an end. Don't worry though, I have some exciting Fall-themed posts in store for all of you, as well as some freakin' amazing giveaways ;)
As always, comment or message me with your feedback or with any suggestions for future posts!
